Selah Strong Family Bible
Holy Bible in English; New York, T. Allen, 1792.

Contains the records of Judge Strong and his wife, Anna Smith, with their
descendants. It has descended in a straight line to the present owner,
Benjamin Strong, Jr., of New York City, the great-great-grandson of Judge
Strong.

Selah Strong - born 25th December 1737 - Anna Smith, born April 14th 1740
and were Married, November 9th 1760.

Anna, Strong died August 12th 1812 -

Selah Strong, died July 4th 1815 -

Revd Selah Strong Woodhull - D. D. son of James W. and Keturah S. died at
New Brunswick N. J. February 27th 1826 - he was one of the Professors in
Rutgers College, and had entered on its duties, about three months previous -

Thomas S. Strong, Died April 18th 1840 at 20 Minutes past 7 - A.M. -

Jotham Weeks, born 24th Aug - 1731 - Sally Huggins, born 10th February
1738 and were Married 5th April 1756 -

Mrs. Weeks, Died with the Small Pox, the 16th December 1794, at ½ past
8 o Clock P. M.-

Jotham Weeks, Died the 3d July 1807 Aged 75 years - 10 ms. & 9 Days -

Amy Hand, (Wife of Captain Isaac Hand) Died the 19th of April in the 35th
year of her Age - born Aug. 14 1770 -

Mary Hand (Second wife of Capt. Isaac Hand) died Sept 6th 181Ø =

Benjamin Strong, died January 27th 1851 at 20 minutes before 12 midnight,
aged 80 years 9 months and 13 days.

Charles Lloyd Strong, was married to Jeanette Amy Bradley April 7th 1817 -

Eliza T. Strong, was Married to Andrew S. Snelling, April 9th 1829

Anna S. Strong, was Married to George Baxter, January 21st 1829 -

Edward A. Strong was Married to Marianne Clay, the 5th October 1831 -

Oliver Smith Strong was Married to Margaret McIntyre, January 2d 1834

Sarah H. Strong, was Married to Dr. Nicoll H. Dering - October 1st 1844

Margaret, (the Wife of O. S. Strong) Died at Jersey City, on the 4th February
1845 - at 7 o Clock P M-

Charles Edward Strong, was married to Eleanor Burrill Fearing the 18th April
1850

Georgianna Snelling, was Married to Dr. John C. Peters, the 16th May 1849

Julia Weeks Strong, was Married to Theodore Armstrong Bailey May 9th 1850
