Moses Ogden Family Bible

The Bible contains the records of moses Ogden and his family and has
descended directly to his great-granddaughter, Miss Amy Edwards, of
Elizabeth, New Jersey, who is the present owner.

Moses Ogden & Mary His Wife Married the 3d Day of November 1746.

1 Son Aaron Ogden Born November 3d 1747 Dyed the 28 Day of Jan'y 1747/8

2 Mary Ogden : Born January 8 1748/9 Dyed the 15th of Feb'y 1748/9

3 Frances Ogden : Born Feb'y 7th 1749/50 Died at New Haven 7th July 1800.

4 John Cosens Ogden : Born November the 15th 1751 Died at Chestertown
Maryland Sep. 1800.

5 Moses Ogden : Born March 22d 1754 Dyed Sep't 16th 1756.

6 Barne Ogden : Born January 14th 1756.

7 Anne Agden : Born April 18th 1758

8 Moses Ogden : Born August 25 1760 the above Taken out of a small Bible.

9 Aaron Norton Ogden Born Sep't 15th 1762

10 Mary Cosens Ogden Born November 25 1764

11 David Ogden Born December 17th 1766

Mr. Moses Ogden Died October the 14th 1768 in the 46 year of His Age.

Benoni Ogden was born november 17 1768

Benoni Ogden Died June 16: 1774

Francis Ogden Married to Pierrpont Edwards
Born unto the Polly Susana, John Starks, Henery, Ogden, Alfred, Henrietta.

John Cosens Ogden Married to Polly Worster, born unto them Polly, David,
Aaron.

Benoni Ogden Married to Nancy Sale April 26th 1778.
Born unto them Betsy & Polly twins Feb. 3 1780

Betsy died Feb. 13 aged 10 days

Polly Cosens died Feby 23rd age 20 days.

Moses Ogden Killed in the Action of Connecticut Farmes June 7th 1780 aged
19 years 10 months 7 days.

Aaron Norton Ogden Died Dec'r 12 1780 in the 18 yr of his age.
