Richard V. Morris Family Bible
Holy Bible in English; New York, Collins, Perkins & Co., 1807.

Contains the family records of Richard Valentine Morris (1768-1815) and Anne
Walton, his wife, whose name, "Anne Morris", with the date 1809, appears on
the title page.  The records cover the family to the third generation; the Bible
now belongs to Henry Lewis Morris, Esq., of New York city, a grandson of the
original owner.

At Ballstown January the twenty-fourth in the year of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and ninety seven Richard Valentine Morris to Anne Walton.

At New York 8th October in the Year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred
and twenty-seven Gerard Walton Morris to Martha Pyne.

At Canandaigua N. Y. On the 11th day of October in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and thirty one Henry Morris to Mary N. Spencer.

At New York by Rev. J. W. Moore in the Church of the Ascension on the 5th of
May 1852 Francis J. Barretto to Honora S. daughter of Gerard W. & Martha P.
Morris.

At the Residence of Gerard W. Morris 5th Avenue on the 19th December 1854
by the Rev. J. W. Moore Jonathan Edwards to Minny P. Morris.

Morris.

Gerard Walton born in New York on the eleventh day of July in the year of our
lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine. Baptized by the Rev. Mr.
Bisset the 27th of August following. Sponsors Gerard Walton. Henry Walton

Richard Valentine born in the Island of Malta on the ninth day of June in the
year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and three Baptized by the Rev.
Mr. Cossevat the 9th July following. Sponsors John Haris Cruger, William

Henry born at Morrisania on the twenty second day of August in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and six.  Baptized by the Rev Mr.

On Saturday the 13th of May 1815 died Richard Valentine Morris aged forty
seven years and two months.

On the 18th of December 1836 died John C. Spencer Son of Henry and Mary N.
Morris aged two months twenty five days.

On Saturday the ninth day of December 1843 died Richard Valentine Morris
son of Richd V. and Anne Morris aged forty years and six months.

On 22nd Feb'y 1850 died Anne Walton Daughter of Gerard W. & Martha P.
Morris aged 20 years 2 mos. & 9 days.

On 24th March 1850 died Richard V. son of Gerard W. & Martha P. Morris aged
11 years 6 mos.

On 28 August 1851 Isabelle P. Daughter of Gerard W. & Martha P. Morrisaged
23 years 1 month

On June 1852 Martha P. wife of Gerard W. Morris aged 46 years.

On the 10th January one Thousand Eight hundred & Fifty four died Henry
Morris son of Richard V. & Anne Morris aged Forty Seven years 5 months.

Died Sept 28th 1856 Anna C. Barretto aged 1 year 10mth. & 26 days.

Died April 27th 1857 Mary P. Edwards aged 21 years 11 months & 24 days.

Died April 18th 1858 Anne Walton Relict of Richard V. Morris Decd. aged 85
years 2 months & 25 Days.
