Joseph Gale Family Bible
| Family history recorded on the back of an engraving of The Reverend Mr. Sam'l Willard. A very like engraving appeared in the publication "A Compleat Body of Divinity in Two Hundred and Fifty Expository Lectures" by Samuel Willard, published in Boston by B. Green and S. Kneeland, 1726. This engraving differs only in that it has an added pedestal and other stone work [see scan]. Examples would be Andrews' birth date and William and Hannah Bean's wedding date. This paper gives all indications of being written at the times of the events, with different inks and a few different hands.] This Bible page is now in the possession of the C. G.
