The Bible belonged to Emma Farley, daughter of James and Mary Jane Farley, whose Bible is also recorded on this site. There are no family register pages, but a few notes written on the first few blank pages. Presentation Inscription Presented to Emma from Mrs. Ritter for haveing next to the highest amount of money 1903. Notes Grandpa Farley died April 16, 1905. his text 2 Timothy 1:12. Grandma Farley died Mar. 24, 1917 her text 2 Cor. 5:8;9 A leaf [missing] from one of Blanche Grumblings wedding carnations which occurred Wednesday night Nov. 1, 1905 in Milton. The Bible is now in the possession of the C. G. Brisee Genealogy Library, Irwin, Iowa. |
