Moses Eckert Family Bible
| Holy Bible in English; H. & E. Phinney, Cooperstown, N. Y., 1841. The Bible is now in the possession of the C. G. Brisee Genealogy Library, Irwin, Iowa. The Bible was from the Moses & Jane B. (Cole) Eckert family. Moses may of been the son of Jonathan & Sarah (Decker) Eckert, and the grandson of Sephanus & Maria (Decker) Eckert. He lived in Walden, Orange County, NY in the 1880's. The Family Register pages are difficult to read, so some errors may occur during the transcriptions. The word debter was used for daughter and sun for son, for example. Some of the writing is faint and won't come out on the scans.
