Dyckman Family Bible
| Holy Bible in Dutch; Dordrecht, Hendrick, Jacob en Pieter Keur, 1702. Contains the records of William Dyckman (1725 - 1787) and Mary Turner, his wife, and of the descendants of their son Jacobus. It has descended in direct line to Mrs. Bashford Dean and Mrs. Alexander McMillan Welch, great-great-granddaughters of the original owner; and has been deposited by them for safe keeping in the Dyckman House Museum, New York City. [S.] and died 10th of Augus 1787 Mary Turner was born February 4th 1728 O.S. and Died february 14 1802 Jacobus Dyckman Son of William & Mary Dyckman was born September 18th 1748, O.S. & Died August 20 - 1832 - Mary Dyckman Daughter of Wm. & Mary Dyckman was born June 2th 1752 O.S. and Died the 23 of february 1826 Abraham Dyckman, Son of William & Mary Dyckman was born August 25th 1754 New Stile, and Died the 9th of March of a wound which he Got the 4th of March, 1782. Michael Dyckman Son of William & Mary Dyckman was Born 9th of August 1756 and Died in January, 1808 Jane Dyckman Daughter of William & Mary Dyckman was Born 26th of June, 1759 and Died 24th of march 1772. William Dyckman Son of William and Mary Dy [piece torn out] was Born 25th February 1765. John dyckman son of William & Mary Dyckman was born 28 [piece torn out] and died 15th of April 1774 by Accident With a Cart. Charity Dyckman Daughter of William & Mary Dyckman was Born 18th of May, 1770. William Dyckman son of Jacobus Dyckman and Hannah Dyckman was born the [piece torn out] and died the 31st day of August 1803 Frederick Dyckmanson of Jacobus Dyckman and Hannah Dyckman was born the 4 day of December 1776 John Dyckman son of Jacobus Dyckman and Hannah Dyckman was born the 10 of February 1778 and died the 9 November 1778. Hannah Dyckman Daughter of Jacobus Dyckman and Hannah Dyckman was born the 3 day of February 1780 Abraham Dyckman son of Jacobus Dyckman and Hannah Dyckman was born the 14 March, 1782. Maria Dyckman Daughter of Jacobus Dyckman and Hannah was bor[n] the December 25th 1786. Jacob Dyckman, son of Jacobus Dyckman was born October 11, 1788. James Dyckman was son of Jacobus Dyckman and Hannah Dy[ckman] was born the 1 december 1790. Isaac Dyckman son of Jacobus Dyckman and H. Dyckman was born the 17 November 1794 Michael Dyckman son of J. D. and H. D. was born the 22 of August [date erased] John dyckman son of Jacobus Dy and Ha Dyck. was born the 15 of March 1799.
