Johnson, New York, 1875.

The Family Bible of Jonathan Edward Braun, son of Joseph and Hester
(Eldridge) Broun and Jonathan's wife Elizabeth Laurel Crawford. Jonathan was
born in either Coshocton or Miami County, Ohio. Elizabeth was born in Beaver
County, Pennsylvania.

The Bible is in fair to poor condition. The ink is very faded and does not show
up on the scans very well. A lock of hair, medium brown with a hint of red,
was also in the Bible]

The Bible is now in the possession of the C. G. Brisee Genealogy Library,
Irwin, Iowa.
